We’re here to fill the gaps, build bridges, and strengthen our community, one connection at a time.
Not alone, not forgotten
Teach Me Again Generation 2 exists to make sure no older adult, caregiver, or struggling family in our rural communities has to navigate life’s challenges alone. We step in where gaps exist — not to replace anyone, but to make sure people have someone who will walk with them, guide them, and help them get what they need to live with dignity. In our bayou and rural parishes, many people don’t have easy access to resources, transportation, technology, or someone who can help them understand complicated systems. TMAG2 fills that gap by offering hands-on support, patient guidance, and real solutions for everyday problems.
Born from a pressing need
Teach Me Again Generation 2 was born out of a simple truth: too many older adults, caregivers, and families in our rural bayou communities were struggling alone. After decades of working directly with seniors and families across Southern Louisiana, we saw the same pattern repeat itself — people who needed help were falling through the cracks. We created TMAG2 to change that, with a commitment to walk beside people, not ahead of them. Our work is rooted in the culture, values, and resilience of Cajun Country, where neighbors look out for one another and every generation matters.
More than information, we teach
Teach Me Again Generation 2 is different because we don’t just give people information — we guide them through it. We take the time to teach, explain, and walk step-by-step with older adults, caregivers, and families until they truly understand what they need to do. Our work is rooted in the realities of rural Louisiana. We know the culture, the challenges, and the gaps that families face every day. That’s why our approach is personal, patient, and hands-on. We meet people where they are, use plain language, and never rush or judge.
